Laura & Adam’s Lanwades Hall Wedding was everything we love about spring weddings—laughter, chaos (in the best way), and pure celebration.

There might not have been golden hour light or blazing sunshine, but there was an epic champagne spray that soaked us all (worth it), endless fun with their guests, and a vibe that felt like one big happy reunion.

This Suffolk venue is one of our favourites, with gorgeous gardens, that iconic arched gateway, and loads of space for fun, whatever the weather.

Bridal Details & Morning Moments

We began Laura and Adam’s Lanwades Hall wedding day with some quiet, sentimental moments. Laura’s mum had put together a beautiful photo album for her to open that morning—cue the first happy tears of the day. After capturing those precious reactions, we ended bridal prep with a stunning shot of the dress in the soft window light. These quiet moments are some of our favourites to photograph at Lanwades Hall—the calm before the celebration.

Groom Prep

While the bride was getting ready upstairs, we caught up with Adam and his groomsmen as they got suited up for the big day. Lanwades Hall has plenty of characterful rooms to work with, and we love capturing those relaxed, natural moments between the groom and his crew as they prepare for the ceremony.

Final Bridal Touches & Dad Reveal

Back with Laura, the energy was building as final touches came together. The moment her dad walked in for the reveal—total gold. It’s these candid, emotional moments that make wedding mornings so special. Lanwades Hall’s beautiful interiors give us plenty of soft light and elegant backdrops to frame these scenes perfectly.

Grand Staircase Moment

On the way to the ceremony, we paused for one of our favourite shots of the day—Laura descending Lanwades Hall’s iconic grand staircase. It’s a dramatic but timeless backdrop that always delivers something a little cinematic.

Ceremony

The ceremony took place inside one of Lanwades Hall’s elegant reception rooms, full of character and warmth. After the formalities, the newlyweds were met outside with a flurry of confetti—and one especially hilarious moment where Adam cheekily tried to retrieve some from Laura’s dress! Real, unscripted moments like this are exactly what we love to document.

Drinks Reception + Drone Shot

The drinks reception was held on the back terrace, with guests mingling and soaking in the atmosphere. We snuck away briefly to send the drone up and captured a heart-shaped group shot of everyone—a perfect way to show the love, quite literally, from above.

Couple Portraits by the Blossom Tree

Spring weddings at Lanwades Hall offer the best kind of natural beauty—and Laura and Adam timed it perfectly with the blossom in full bloom. We took a walk under the trees and captured some of our favourite couple portraits of the day. No stiff posing, just the two of them having a moment (with a few giggles in between).

Speeches + Light-up Letters Photo

As guests gathered back inside for the speeches, the room filled with laughter, stories, and a few happy tears. One sweet moment we loved: Laura and Adam sneaking a kiss beside their custom ‘L & A’ light-up letters—a small but perfect detail of their day.

Champagne Spray!

What’s a celebration without a bit of chaos? We gathered the whole wedding party outside for a champagne spray, and they absolutely delivered. These moments are all about fun, movement, and not being afraid to get a little soaked—just how we like it.

Evening & Dancing

As the night set in, Laura and Adam hit the dancefloor with their guests and ended the day just as it began—full of energy, joy, and connection. Lanwades Hall truly comes to life at night, with cosy indoor spaces and plenty of room to party.

Our Photography Approach

Our goal is always to keep things fun, calm, and real. Laura & Adam didn’t want anything stiff or overly posed—so we focused on capturing connection, movement, and the little moments in between. From quiet looks to big group hugs, we documented it all while letting them enjoy their day.

We also love using the grounds at Lanwades creatively—whether that’s chasing light through the trees, using the ivy-covered walls as frames, or sneaking out for a few peaceful couple shots after dinner.

From the very moment we met Andy and Lewis we knew that we had met two incredible people.

We met for what was meant to be a half an hour consultation but we ended up staying over 2 hours on the first meeting.
They are both very charming and charismatic people who have a genuine love of their job as well as an incredible knowledge of their field.
They both talked Laura and myself through how they like to take their pictures and how that aligned with what we imagined our wedding day would look like.
A few extra touches they even talked about suits and where we could find good ones for the groom.
As soon as we left the meeting we instantly said these guys were our photographers and booked that evening. That’s how much we fell in love with these guys.

They offer a pre-wedding shoot, which we used as it is a great and very relaxed way to learn how to pose for those great shots during your wedding day. We had so much fun, it honestly felt like we were on a normal dog walk, every instruction was clear, easy and well communicated. Andy and Lewis made us feel relaxed and like the camera was not there at all. We loved the shots that came from it and it let us know that we had definitely picked the right photographers.

The wedding day! Both Andy and Lewis went above and beyond what we could have expected. They pitched in when the bride help with her dress, they try so hard to cover every angle for that perfect picture. They don’t dominate the bride and groom to get millions of pictures, they worked very well with the guests in group shots and those candid pictures.
They had great ideas for unique photos to us as well which made our day just that bit more special.

They also use Emmi who is a content creator, she was able to blend in Andy and Lewis covering the day and getting some great footage.
