A Lanwades Hall Wedding Full of Heart, Sunshine & Fun

Lanwades Hall is always a treat to photograph, but Anna & Pete’s day really took things to another level. Their summer wedding at this stunning Suffolk venue was full of laughter, beautiful light, and the kind of easygoing joy that makes for the best wedding memories (and photos!). From emotional moments with family to garden games, pizza vans and golden hour portraits, this Lanwades Hall wedding had it all.

Laughter, Love & Jellycat Cameos

Bridal prep took place on-site in Lanwades Hall’s bridal suite, with Anna surrounded by her bridesmaids and her lovely mum. We captured all the little details,including their save the date, before focusing on those real, emotional moments that tell the story: lovely reactions from the bridesmaids seeing Anna in her dress, laughter echoing around the room, and a fun portrait of Anna holding a Jellycat bride plush (which felt very on brand for this wedding!).

Groomsmen Banter & Good Vibes

While the girls were getting glammed up, Pete and the guys were having a blast in their own prep space. There was lots of laughter and a great dynamic between the group, which made for fun, candid shots, including the groomsmen hyping Pete up ahead of the ceremony.

Lanwades Hall Ceremony

The indoor ceremony space at Lanwades Hall is a real showstopper, full of character, natural light, and charm. Anna made her entrance down the grand staircase with her mum by her side before meeting Pete at the front. Their ceremony was full of smiles, excitement and a real sense of togetherness. One of our favourite parts? Seeing them walk back up the aisle as newlyweds, beaming from ear to ear.

Sunshine & Sweet Moments

As guests spilled out into the beautiful courtyard, the summer sun made everything glow, including our bride and groom. Anna’s entrance into the reception space was a natural, gorgeous moment. We loved capturing her emotional hug with her mum, and candid shots of the couple laughing and chatting with guests. Lanwades Hall’s courtyard really shines during summer weddings, and this was no exception.

Sunlight, Love & Dress-Carrying Duties

We took Anna and Pete off for some portraits around the grounds, including a rustic barn door moment, a sweet shot of Pete carrying Anna’s dress, and our signature walking shots that show off the beautiful setting at the back of Lanwades Hall. The light was dreamy and these images feel so relaxed, the perfect mix of elegance and fun.

Wedding Bingo for the Win!

We’re huge fans of unique wedding entertainment, and wedding bingo in the sunken garden might just be one of our favourites yet. Guests were totally into it, laughing, playing, and competing for prizes. It added such a relaxed, personal touch to the day and created the best kind of candid photo moments.

Cocktails, Laughter & Cheers All Round

Cocktail hour at Lanwades Hall brought all the good vibes. The wedding party were in full celebration mode, clinking glasses, sharing laughs, and making the most of the sunshine. We captured some beautifully natural moments with Anna and her bridesmaids, along with a fun cheers shot that perfectly sums up the energy of this laid-back summer wedding.

Evening Portraits: Romance at Lanwades Hall

We couldn’t resist sneaking Anna and Pete away for a few golden hour portraits, nothing too posed, just the two of them laughing, twirling, and totally in their element. These moments were all about letting them be themselves, and the photos feel all the more special for it.

Cake, Dancing & Pizza: A Perfect Evening Vibe

The evening kicked off with cake cutting (featuring a cheeky bride pose!) followed by dancing and delicious pizza served from a van, obviosuly a hit with all the guests. We wrapped things up with a brilliant, natural moment of Anna feeding Pete a slice. Honestly, weddings should always end with pizza!
