Bourton Hall Wedding | Zoe & Dane
Bourton Hall Wedding Photography
Wow, what can we say about Bourton Hall, other than what an incredible setting for a wedding this venue is. It’s one of those venues that just works, no matter the time of year, and Zoe and Dane’s day was a perfect example of that.
What we love about a Bourton Hall wedding is how versatile the space is. Everything flows really naturally, from the morning preparations right through to the evening party, without ever feeling rushed or over-structured.
Morning Preparations
The morning started in a really relaxed way, with Zoe and her bridesmaids getting ready together in the bridal suite. There was a lot of laughter straight away, with everyone sat around in pyjamas enjoying a glass of prosecco and just taking it all in.
Some really lovely moments came from this part of the day, from quiet interactions with family through to fun, slightly chaotic moments with the bridesmaids. One of the highlights was seeing everyone’s reaction when Zoe was fully dressed, those reactions are always some of the most genuine parts of the morning.
Meanwhile, Dane was getting ready with his groomsmen. It was a laid-back atmosphere, with plenty of laughs, but also some great moments like helping each other get ready and just taking a minute before everything properly started.
The Ceremony
The ceremony room was absolutely stunning. One of the standout moments was seeing Zoe walk down the aisle with her dad.
There were plenty of smiles throughout the ceremony, with Zoe and Dane clearly just enjoying the moment together. As soon as it finished, everyone headed outside for confetti, which we LOVED! This is always one of the most fun parts of any Bourton Hall wedding, and capturing this with the ceremony room as the backdrop just makes this moment even more special.
Drinks Reception
After the ceremony, everyone relaxed into the drinks reception. Guests were mingling, catching up and just enjoying the atmosphere while Zoe and Dane took a moment to soak everything in.
This part of the day is always great for more natural photos, nothing staged, just people enjoying themselves. It also gave Zoe and Dane a chance to properly spend some time with their guests before heading into the next part of the day.
Couple Portraits at Bourton Hall
We took some time to head out with Zoe and Dane for a few relaxed portraits around Bourton Hall. The venue works really well for this because you don’t need to go far, everything is right there.
The mix of the building itself and the surrounding space meant we could keep things really natural. Nothing too posed, just letting them walk, chat and have a bit of a laugh together. Not to forget Dane being an absolute gent by carry Zoe's dress.
Wedding Breakfast & Speeches
The wedding breakfast room looked amazing before guests entered, and the energy carried straight through as Zoe and Dane made their entrance.
Speeches are always a highlight, and this one didn’t disappoint. There was a great mix of humour and genuine moments, with plenty of laughter from the top table and guests throughout the room.
Think Vogue...
We couldn’t resist using the grand staircase for something a bit more editorial before the evening kicked off.
First Dance & Father-Daughter Dance
Zoe and Dane kicked things off with an incredible first dance, confetti cannons going off, music building, and the grand staircase packed with all their friends and family. It made for such a good atmosphere and some really memorable photos to start the evening.
Not long after, Zoe shared a dance with her dad, which was a really lovely moment to capture. It had a completely different feel to the rest of the evening, a bit more relaxed and emotional, and you could see how much it meant to both of them.
Planning a Bourton Hall Wedding
Zoe and Dane’s Bourton Hall wedding was such a fun one to be part of. From the relaxed morning through to the energy of the evening, it was a day full of genuine moments and great people.
If you’re planning your own Bourton Hall wedding and looking for relaxed, natural wedding photography, we’d love to hear from you.
